Shirene Urry
Operations and Programs Manager

Shirene Urry is a graduate of Brigham Young University where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications with an emphasis in Advertising. She will also complete her Master of Science Degree in Marriage, Family, and Human Development this fall. Her thesis examines the relationship between 18-25 year olds’ feelings toward past and future family relationships. In particular, her experiences serving a year and a half church service mission inspired a desire to use her communications skills to support fidelity and the institution of the family. While pursuing her master’s degree, Shirene campaigned at the United Nations and participated in publicizing and executing her campus’s first student-organized symposium on the state of marriage and the family, attended by over 700 students and community members. She has researched and written on a variety of topics pertaining to 18-25 year-olds including religiosity and parent-child relationships, publishing her work in the journal, Youth and Society. Shirene has also served as the instructor of a collegiate marriage preparation course, emphasizing commitment and fidelity as the basis for discussion of academic research.

Shirene works in Princeton, NJ, as the Operations and Programs Manager at the Love and Fidelity Network.
